I had heard a lot about Ulthera and ready mixed opinions about it on the Internet. So I was slightly nervous before I went for this treatment. However, my doctor had made sure that I had realistic expectations from the procedure and was well prepared for the experience. I had assumed that since Ultherapy is not a surgical treatment, the results will take time to show up. But I was thrilled to see that the results almost immediate! My doctor had told me to expect full results within three to four months after the procedure. I guess I must have been a fit candidate for Ultherapy, considering the results showed up so fast! My face had not looked so rejuvenated and refreshed in the last few years.
I am 39 years old, I wear sunscreen religiously, and I do not smoke. My skin in the neck, chin, and jaw was becoming loose, and I needed to do something about it desperately. I chose Ultherapy and I have been very happy with my decision. The entire procedure lasted for a little less than an hour. My doctor did not even apply any local anesthetic such as lidocaine, and still the experience was not very unpleasant.

But I would describe the pain as mild, and may be comparable to laser hair removal.
It has now been more than three weeks since my treatment. I still have very slight soreness in the treated areas, and I can see modest improvement between my eyebrows. The creases and droopiness in my eyebrows and outer eyes has reduced. I would say it was worth the amount of money I spent on it. With the same amount of money, I may repeat the treatment for my eyebrows.
