She earned her board certifications from the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery.
She ranks among a select group of board certified facial plastic surgeons that have exemplary accomplishments in terms of surgical training, clinical experience and continuing education. Dr. V received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota, and continued training in Internal Medicine at the University of California. She followed it with her residency training in Otolaryngology (Head and Neck Surgery).
Dr. V was then chosen for a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center.
